  10. =========================================================================
  11. Styles+ is an enhancement to your Newton's built-in style palette. 
  12. With Styles+, you have access to Bold, Italic, Underline, Outline,
  13. Superscript and Subscript! Apply one or all of them to selected text! You
  14. can change the size of any text from 9 to 72 points! Styles+
  15. gives you access to the Newton's system font, Espy! Styles+ also gives
  16. you select all and select paragraph commands.

  40. System Requirements

  42. Styles+ requires Newton OS 2.x and 12K of storage space.

  45. Installing Styles+
  46. =========================================================================
  47. Styles+ is installed like any Newton package, using the Newton
  48. Backup Utility (NBU), the Newton Connection Utilities (NCU), or
  49. any third-party package downloading utility.

  51. When installed, an icon will appear in the extensions folder
  52. of the Extras Drawer. You activate Styles+ by tapping on the
  53. Styles button in Extras.

  56. Using Styles+
  57. =========================================================================
  58. As Styles+ is a replacement for the built-in styles palette, the interface
  59. has not been changed except for the addition of the info and minimize button.

  61.   o Tap on the Info button for preferences, registering, selecting text.
  62.   o Tap on the Font picker to display the fonts on your Newton.
  63.   o Tap on the Size picker to change the size of text from 9-72 points.
  64.   o Tap on the Style picker to adjust the style of text.
  65.   o Tap on the Pen picker to change the current pen size.
  66.   o Tap on the minimize button to reduce Styles+ to a small draggable view.

  71. Select the "Prefs" popup item from the info button. A view will be displayed
  72. with the following checkbox:

  74.     o Install button in backdrop app: Installs a button on the status bar of
  75.       the current backdrop application.
